Titled: Spirits Pulling Souls. The American buffalo or bison, depending on what century your in. Is iconically symbolic of the historical great American west and it’s heartland of the past. This image might very well honor the bold, distinguished and mighty animal. In it’s daunting ability to survive against all forces of nature, past and present. Covered in sub-zero frost and standing in sunrise amongst the thermals of Yellowstone’s Upper Geyser Basin. Image captured during “winter restricted-access” seasonal closure, in my snowcoach.
